The works are carried out on the basis of a license 184-GIN dated 21.12.2022. in order to study the prospects of Jurassic fields.
The license area is 476.64 km2.
The Northern Ozen section is administratively located on the territory of the Karakian and Mangistau districts of Mangistau region of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The regional center of Aktau is located to the south-west of the square at a distance of 130 km, Zhanaozen 20 km to the South.
The nearest settlements are the villages of Bostan and Kyzylsai, directly adjacent to the south-eastern part of the area.
The license area is adjacent to the northern part of the fields with proven industrial oil and gas bearing capacity Ozen and Karamandybas.
The program of work carried out within the framework of the GIN is planned to conduct field seismic exploration 3D Common depth point method (CDP), in the amount of 400 linear km2, to determine further activities for the project.
