Works are carried out under License No. 315 – GIN dated 05.02.2025, with the aim of studying the prospectivity of the Paleozoic and Mesozoic complexes.

The area of the licensed block is 2,414.89 km2.

Administratively, the Shygys area is located within the Temir, Baiganin, and Mugalzhar districts of Aktobe Region of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The work program implemented under the GIN provides for the reprocessing and reinterpretation of historical seismic survey results in the amount of 3,000 linear km, as well as new 2D CDP seismic field surveys in the amount of 500 linear km, followed by the processing and interpretation of the acquired seismic data.
