As part of efforts to strengthen cooperation in geological exploration with Shell and Chevron, Chairman of the Management Board of NC KazMunayGas JSC Askhat Khassenov met with Ali Al-Janabi, Senior Vice President and Chairman of Shell in Kazakhstan, and Dylan Morgan, Deputy Managing Director of Chevron’s Eurasia Business Unit.

Following the meeting, KazMunayGas subsidiary KMG Barlau LLP signed agreements with Shell and Chevron granting the right to use geological information related to the Mugodzhar project in Aktobe Region.

Cooperation with international oil majors such as Shell and Chevron confirms the high level of trust in KazMunayGas and its commitment to introducing advanced technologies in the field of geological exploration.
